GRAPE VARIETIES: 100% Cabernet Franc

ABV: 14.5%

WINEMAKING: Aged 18 months in neutral French oak barrels with added 50% new French oak staves for 6 months. 

GRAPE GROWING: 100% Colorado Estate Pinot Noir

West Elks AVA - High Altitude - Elevation 5770’ 

Grapes were grown in the WestElks AVA in the Qutori Vineyard.  Pinot Noir grows very well at this high altitude location of 5770 feet.  The river below the vineyard creates great air flow for the vineyard on warm days and cool nights. The WestElks AVA is the highest elevation AVA in the country.

FOOD PAIRING: Pair this lovely Pinot Noir with some delicious salmon, hardy mushrooms, or tender lamb.
